The Orange pushed right back down the court, earning Faith Blackstone two chances at the free-throw line. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – A season-best 23 turnovers forced on the defensive end helped Florida State Women’s Basketball get past Pittsburgh, 67-53, on Sunday afternoon at the Donald L. Tucker Center.
“(It was) very important,” FSU Interim Head Coach Brooke Wyckoff said of the 23 turnovers forced. “When we allowed them to score they would press us. Wyckoff coaches against White as head coach for the first time in her career.

“Obviously it was a really tough one, the way it came down to the end like that,” FSU Interim Head Coach Brooke Wyckoff said. “The girls were really disappointed. But honestly, it was a great learning lesson for us. I told them after the game, ‘This is the ACC. Every single possession is going to be a battle. They’re not going to give you anything easy, they’re not going to make it look like how you want it to look. We’ve got to adjust and continue to work.”’
