Additionally, more than 30 flood alerts have been issued across England, which signal people should prepare for possible flooding.
The Environment Agency is urging people to check their website here to find out what to do to prepare for flooding.
The Environment Agency tweeted this week: “Flooding can happen at any time.
“With 5.2 million homes and businesses at risk of flooding, it’s important to be aware of the small steps you can take now to be better prepared.”

The blustery weather on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, amid a Met Office yellow weather warning, has caused problems with overhead electricity equipment.
And drivers who do need to head out amid coronavirus lockdown restrictions are being urged to take extra care.
As of 9am, winds had been recorded at speeds of 60mph at Marham and Weybourne and at 55mph at Norwich Airport.
Homes in areas such as Thetford, Dereham, Swaffham, Hunstanton, Blakeney, Hingham, Aylsham were among hundreds left without power.

According to the Netweather forecast for Thursday, colder air is expected to take hold by Friday and some snow will start to fall.
The forecast reads: A wild start this morning with gusts over 60mph. Overnight a deep low pressure has moved past northern Scotland, trailing its weather fronts over the UK bringing a spell of rain. As these frontal bands clear away over the North Sea there will be clearer, brighter skies with a rash of blustery showers from the Atlantic. By tomorrow, as colder air takes hold, some of these showers will turn wintry with snow on northern hills. Further rain or showers from the west into the weekend but less so by Sunday.
