Officials investigating a green fluid flowing into the River Tame have confirmed the cause of it.
Residents first sparked concerns about the brightly-coloured liquid flowing into the river at the Three Counties Estate in Mossley last week.

Forensic officers were seen searching an embankment on Axeltree Way close to a railway line and the River Tame.
A detective was also seen making his way through the trees.
An investigation has been launched by West Midlands Police.
The bones were found close to junction nine of the motorway in Wednesbury, West Midlands, on Monday evening (officers pictured at the scene)
Officers (pictured at the scene) suspect the remains, found among dense woodland, may have been there for some time
A spokesman for the force said: We are investigating after human remains were found in Axeltree Way, Wednesbury yesterday evening (April 12).
