COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – Columbia area motorists are seeing a little relief at the pump.
GasBuddy’s daily survey of 350 gas stations in the Columbia area reports gas prices have fallen 1.8 cents per gallon in the past week averaging $2.51 per gallon.
GasBuddy says gas prices in Columbia are 6.7 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and $1.03 higher than a year ago.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Gas prices fell 1.4 cents per gallon in South Carolina in the past week.
GasBuddy says their daily survey of 3,028 gas stations in South Carolina shows that prices are averaging at $2.60 per gallon, Monday.
GasBuddy says Gas prices in South Carolina are still 11.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago after an early Spring spike and stand 87.0 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.

(WXYZ) â Gas prices in metro Detroit have hit the highest average to start April since 2014, according to a new analysis from GasBuddy.
According to GasBuddy, prices rose 6.3 cents per gallon to an average of $2.82 per gallon. That s up $1.20 from this time last year.
GasBuddy said the cheapest station in the area is at $2.45 while the most expensive is a $3.09.
The last time gas was this expensive or more on April 5 was back in 2014, when the average was $3.62 per gallon. The other high price was back in 2019 at $2.79 per gallon on April 5.
