The Dickinson Area Chamber announced Thursday, May 6, that Dickinson resident Carter Fong has become the new executive director of the organization whose mission it is to further the business interests of the community, while also advocating for Dickinson with local and state legislators.
The Sunrise Foundation has a busy week.
The group is part of the local online fundraiser, which covers the state of North Dakota with a powerful message âa heart â, and it is being displayed by local businesses.
In addition to online donations, the foundation will have people at Lasting Visions and the Frontier Travel Center for those people who want to physically hand over donations Thursday morning.
Not only will it have in impact in Bowman County and surrounding areas, but also it will do much more, according to director Barbi Narum.
âIt will be for people who want to drop off checks and not donate online,â she explained about the two local donation locations.
AmeriCorps member joins Best Friend Mentoring Program

“I’m super passionate about mentoring,” Nguyen said. “I knew in college that I wanted to go into a non-profit and work as a program coordinator.”
