The total general fund budget of $192,212,843 represents a 0.53 percent increase from the FY 2021 budget. The five-year capital improvement program includes $27,611,913 in investments for the next fiscal year.

(WVIR) - Cultivate Charlottesville, with the help of many community restaurants and partners, is distributing meals to students who qualify for free and reduced lunch, to make sure that kids don’t go hungry during spring break. Multiple meals are included with each distribution to make sure each student has breakfast and lunch. They will be handed out at the Greenestone on 5th Street, Westhaven, South First Street, Friendship Court, and Hearthwood communities.
