The death has occurred of Christopher Pender (Christy) of Quilty on the 24th of January 2021, suddenly at home.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Anne, sons Christopher, Thomas and Kenneth, grandaughter Maryam, daughter in law Shaista, sister Mary, relatives, neighbours and friends. Pre-deceased by his beloved parents Tom and Bridget and sister Kathleen, rest in peace.
A private family funeral will take place, in accordance with current government and HSE guidelines at the Star of the Sea Church, Quilty, at 12 noon on Thursday 28th January 2021 followed by burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

So said bride Marion O’Driscoll, who wed Stephen O’Donovan on New Year’s Day.

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Bridie OâHagan; Linsfort, Buncrana.
Funeral mass tomorrow morning, Saturday January 9th at 11am in the Star of the Sea Church, Desertegney with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Due to HSE and Government guidelines, wake, funeral and interment are private to family only with a maximum of ten people permitted.

I always perk up when someone says they have old photos from San Francisco that need location identification. Sometimes I’m lucky and know the site; other times there is too little to go on. A grouping of contemporary photos, like in an album, adds more clues to find locations. I recently was presented with a series of photos in two albums that became one of the more challenging and fun projects I have attempted. This is a detective story of sleuthing collaboration, combining old research skills and new digital technology mixed with a good dose of luck.
The death has occurred in Glasgow of Pat Greene, Glasgow and Derrynamansher, Annagry.
Funeral mass on Sunday in the Star of the Sea Church, Annagry at 12 noon and interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery for family and friends only.
The wake is strictly private to family only.
