The Victorian government has announced a new round of travel vouchers as part of a package of support to boost regional tourism recovery across the state.
Two of those 11 cases were confirmed by Government officials yesterday, with both being recorded at the Arcane aged care facility in Maidstone. They consist of a 79-year-old resident, and a registered nurse who last worked at the facility on Saturday.
The source of the remaining 9 cases has not been disclosed at this time, with Acting Premier
James Merlino expected to provide an update as part of Victoria’s daily press conferences later this morning.
Some 200 close contacts linked to a construction site in the CBD were yesterday being tested as a matter of urgency, after the Probuild site at 100 Queen St was added to the list of coronavirus exposure sites. Anyone who attended the site from Sunday May 30th to Friday June 6th between the hours of 7am and 4pm each day must get tested immediately and self-isolate for a full 14-day quarantine period.
