Dedication of the Albion Park was slated for Sunday, Oct. 17, at the town park on East Main Street. The tentative program included special music, dedication speech by state Rep. Roe; presentation of Bicentennial momentos to Historical Society, presentation of Bicentennial funds to Park Board. The list of new candidates vying for a seat on North East Lincolnshire Council has revealed some big challenges for prospective ward councillors.
This year a new party has emerged for the May election with The Freedom Alliance contesting half of the 12 wards in North East Lincolnshire where there will be elections.
Candidates are part of a campaigning political party who are standing on a platform to reject all forms of governmental restrictions and curtailments on free people, such as leaving homes to go out, to freely associate, assemble, and protest, speak freely without censorship or penalty and make their own free and uncoerced medical choices.
