Drug addict son kills father over refusal to provide money Karachi June 7, 2021 A middle-aged man was shot dead on Sunday in the Al-Falah Society area of the city allegedly by his drug addict son upon refusal to pay money for drugs. The incident took place at a house located in Millat Town within the limits of the Al-Falah police station. Upon receiving the information, police and rescuers reached the property and transported the casualty to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities where the deceased person was identified as 55-year-old Nasir Khan. The man was asleep when his young son, Nadir, shot and killed him, police said, adding that the family told them that Nadir was a drug addict. According to the family, the son was earlier addicted to hashish but he had started taking crystal meth (ice) for the past six months.
