Elizabeth âBethâ Millstone Roman, February 22, 2021, age 75, after recently suffering a stroke.
The daughter of Dr. Robert and Thelma Millstone, she was born in San Francisco but grew up in St. Louis, where she graduated from Ladue Horton Watkins High School. She went on to do her undergraduate work at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY, then earned her MSW at the University of Washington in Seattle. She spent most of her adult life in St. Louis, where she practiced with Jewish Family and Childrenâs Services and the Jewish Federation of St. Louis. She also worked in private practice for many years. Â
So far, Federation has invested $471,692 from the COVID-19 Response Fund and an additional $225,000 from the Jewish Federation of North Americaâs Human Services Match. The investments have helped to supply cash assistance, food security and support for numerous community organizations. SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley is holding a virtual Visions & Voices Campaign event to start conversations about hopes, dreams, and desires for the Jewish community.
Vision & Voices will be one of a series of community events to help the Jewish Federation reach their 2021 campaign goal.
Participants can expect a day of wellness, panels, music, and lectures from community builders.
