Congratulations to Yeshivat Noam fourth grader Tali Ray for winning first place in the STEM ORT Jewish Animation Competition! Ray created a creative and vibrant animation of the Pesach story. According to Yeshivat Noam STEM teacher Nechama Kislak, “It was a privilege for Yeshivat Noam to participate in the ORT animation competition. We feel honored to be able to be part of an organization that provides Jewish education and STEM education to students around the world. By joining in this animation contest our students were able to share their love for Torah and technology through beautiful animations. We are so proud of all our students, and we are looking forward to our further collaboration.”
Israeli Security Startup Offers Free Help to US Jewish Communities By Jewish Link Staff | June 03, 2021
GABRIEL, an Israeli tech startup, has developed a unique response to the wave of tragic shootings, terrorism and lone-wolf attacks that threaten communities across America.
As Israel deals with the latest round of rocket attacks and violent protests, threats against U.S. Jewish communities are also on the rise. A recent spike in hate crime, physical attacks and anti-Israel activists have put Jewish communities on edge in recent weeks.
One Israeli startup has set out to address this problem and save lives with technology that helps you navigate an active-shooter situation and gives first responders improved tools to engage the threat and bring help, quickly.
