The City of North Bay will receive more than $747,000 in additional funding from the provincial government for COVID-19 related costs.
The relief is part of a $500-million funding announcement Thursday by the province, which aims to address operating pressures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eleven municipalities in Nipissing District will receive more than $1.1 million in funding, with North Bay being provided the lion’s share at $747,129.
“Our government recognizes that the pandemic has created significant financial challenges for communities in our area,” Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli said in a statement provided by his constituency office.
