La Asamblea Municipal del Instituto Estatal Electoral realizó una Sesión Extraordinaria donde asignó las regidurías que integrarán el Ayuntamiento de Cuauhtémoc 2021-2024, donde 9 ediles serán de Acción Nacional, cuatro Morena y tres del PRI.
Los nombramientos fueron entregados por Cándido Omar Lizarraga Gutiérrez, presidente de la Asamblea, quien encabezó dicha Sesión con motivo de la Resolución Relativa a la Asignación de Regidurías de Representación Proporcional del Ayuntamiento de Cuauhtémoc.
