At issue are a number of contracts between MPs offices and a company called Data Sciences Inc. That Montreal-based firm is owned by Tom Pitfield, a man who Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has known since childhood.
Pitfield was in Trudeau’s wedding party and even went on that vacation to the Aga Khan’s private island that got the PM in hot water for breaking the federal ethics law. Suffice to say, Trudeau and Pitfield are tight.
