Coronavirus: the areas with the lowest positive cases in Glasgow last week There was an increase in the number of areas in Glasgow where Covid-19 was considered suppressed in the last week. Overall, the city saw a reduction in the number of cases to the lowest weekly total so far this year, down to 1319 over seven days. Where the number of positive tested cases was between zero and 2 and the virus is considered suppressed during that period. In the last week there were eight areas in that, the lowest, category. They were Victoria Park, Sighthill, Shawlands East, North Kelvin, Merrylee and Millbrae, Langside, Dowanhill and City Centre South, shown in white on the map .
