+ December 12, 2020 I SHOULD stop criticizing the Cebu City Government and its policy to contain the current pandemic.
On paper, it may appear that the City continues to implement what some may perceive as “draconian” measures to prevent infection of Sars-CoV-2, the virus that causes the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). But, if you look around you, it’s quite obvious it has loosened its grip.

How else do you explain the group of skateboarders who have sequestered the area outside the Department of Health 7 office on Osmeña Blvd. or the children who play well into the night on J. Urgello St. in Barangay Sambag 1? How about the candle sellers who accost pedestrians outside the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño or the individuals who call certain sidewalks in the downtown area their home?
