Fargo police search for suspect in brutal assault of woman

FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – UPDATE: Fargo Police officers have one adult male suspect in custody in connection with this morning’s stabbing. The victim has been identified as a 14 year old juvenile. Their last known condition was stable. The investigation is ongoing. Original: This morning, Friday June 4, right before 7 a.m., officers were dispatched to a bloody, unconscious female found on the east side of the strip mall, 4340 13th Ave. S. However, should road conditions become hazardous due to freezing rain or sleet, collection times may be delayed. In the meantime, customers should ensure the lids on their garbage and recycling carts are completely closed and that all garbage bags be securely tied to prevent trash from littering neighborhoods. Customers should secure their garbage and recycling carts once Solid Waste crews complete their curbside collection. The J.C. Elliott Collection Center will remain open on Saturday, February 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but is closed on Sundays. It will reopen as usual on Monday, February 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
