City commission to look into Mayor Hagen Brody’s behavior The City Commission on Tuesday is scheduled to explore the idea of investigating Brody’s boorish behavior, not only for the petty way he acted at a COVID-19 vaccine event in March, but for allegedly bullying employees and making disparaging remarks to women. Brody, begrudgingly, apologized for his actions, but serious leadership concerns remain when put into a different context. Brody, according to several accounts documented in complaints, had a two-hour meltdown at City Hall so alarming that a witness compared it to a “hostage situation.” Why? Because an employee posted an 18-second video on Facebook about a vaccine clinic that Brody set up, only the employee had the audacity to omit Brody from the (again) 18-second video. Can you imagine?
