Date Time Creating a level playing field for girls and women in sport A dynamic Wyndham City social media campaign starting today will encourage girls and women to give sport a go in 2021 – as a player, coach, or other supporting role. Featuring players, coaches and officials from 13 Wyndham sporting clubs, the campaign also highlights the role that clubs play in improving gender equality. Wyndham City Mayor Adele Hegedich said over the coming weeks, the community can expect to see images of girls and women in action across a range of sports on Council’s social media pages. There will also be two short videos aimed at boosting the participation of women and girls in sport.
