Henry Cuellar provided his thoughts on Laredo’s rising COVID-19 situation on Friday as Laredo’s representative visited the area to announce a $6 million donation to Serving Children and Adults in Need for mental health.
“Laredo is doing a much better job at vaccination than the state or national average,” Cuellar said. “Most of the cases we are seeing are unvaccinated. It doesn’t mean that people who are vaccinated don’t get it, but the grand majority are (unvaccinated). So we are asking that if you are unvaccinated, get vaccinated.”
