Graco Finalizes Purchase of Land in Dayton, Minnesota

Graco Inc. (NYSE:GGG), a leading manufacturer of fluid handling equipment, announces it has purchased approximately 100 acres of undeveloped land in Dayton, Minnesota. The parcels, which are part of the French Lake Industrial Center, are flanked by West French Lake Road to the north and east, and Brockton Lane North to the west. Graco, headquartered in Minneapolis, also operates facilities in Anoka and Rogers, Minnesota as well as around the world. The Dayton campus is a couple of miles from each of Graco’s two existing buildings in Rogers. The land will support Graco’s sustained growth by allowing two of its three business divisions currently operating in Minneapolis to relocate.

By Dave Larsen University of Dayton sophomore Sarah Yaroma plans to pursue a job, internship or service opportunity this year, but she wasn’t sure how to prepare for an interview with a potential employer. She found the information she needed at Career Camp 2021 a free, intensive professional skills training program for sophomores and juniors in the College of Arts and Sciences. Now in its second year, Career Camp offered two half-day virtual workshops, Jan. 11-12, that included discussions and networking opportunities with faculty, staff, alumni and recruiters from lead corporate sponsor Reynolds and Reynolds, as well as CareSource and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

He was born June 23, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Margaret Schell Engel and the late George M. Engel III. George was a graduate of Wittenberg University and University of Dayton where he received his MA. He was a City of Dayton police officer and sergeant for 16 years until retiring in 1992. George and his wife Karen Wade Engel were married for 47 years. Together they raised three children after giving birth to quadruplets. Infant son, Douglas George Engel survived only 16 days.
