Loaner life jacket stations are located at The Tate Pumphouse, Amoco Park, Robertson Road, Paradise Valley Park, Morad Park, Bryan Stock Trail Pond, Pathfinder Reservoir and Okie Beach. Stations and drop-off bins are also located at every firestation in town.

City Manager Carter Napier said to the council that the previous resolution passed by the council had included some scrivener errors that an amendment would correct.
The new resolution includes a section requiring any business wishing to have an open container event must provide the City Clerk s Office five days notice.
Napier said this is to allow the city time to provide the appropriate amount of staff needed, based on the size of whatever event a business may put on.
Another change to the resolution was the area open containers would be allowed in, with the previous area going all the way down South Elm Street, however the new resolution stops at the southern edge of the Yellowstone garage outdoor stage area.
The Casper City Council voted unanimously to allow open containers of alcohol in an expanded area from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, starting the Thursday before Memorial Day Weekend and ending on Labor Day.

Originally the resolution had allowed from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am, however council member Kyle Gamroth said most bars are not open past 10:00 pm except for The Gaslight Social and The Office, so it was unnecessary to have the ordinance last until midnight.
Council member Bruce Knell said he thought more bars were open later, but after being told by other council members that there were not, the council agreed to amend the resolution.
