Midvale Skate Park now open
A million-dollar skate park is now open in Midvale for the young people of Midland and surrounds.
The skate park, jointly funded by the City of Swan and Lotterywest, is a space for skaters of all ages and abilities to socialise, learn and practice their skills together.
The City of Swan has worked closely with the community to plan and deliver the region’s newest recreation space, which features concrete skate elements, a bowl, bike pump station and racks, drinking fountains and surrounding picnic settings.
City of Swan Mayor Kevin Bailey said the new skate park will create a vibrant space for our young people.
