+ March 14, 2021 A TOTAL of 264 personnel of the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) have been inoculated with the CoronaVac vaccine against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) since the hospital began its vaccination program on March 10, 2021.
CCMC Administrator Yvonne Cania said 529 doses of the vaccine manufactured by Chinese pharmaceutical firm Sinovac Biotech Ltd. were allocated for CCMC personnel.
Cania said five personnel experienced slight rashes and slight itchiness, while those with asthma experienced difficulty in breathing. But they quickly recovered, she said.
“Na-resolve ra (The matter was resolved) even without oxygen. Puro ra mga (They were all) mild (reactions),” she said.
Wednesday, Mar 11, 2020 Secretary of State Jesse White’s spokesperson Dave Druker just called to say all Statehouse tours have been canceled. This includes the traditional school trips to the state capital. Tour guides won’t be laid off, he said.
Druker said the office has “put a hold on lobbying days, association gatherings, rallies.” He said they’re reaching out to lobbyists to ask them to ask their clients to limit or even eliminate their gatherings.
“We’re not closing the building,” Druker said. “I want to stress that. It’s large groups we want to limit.”
Druker said has office has consulted IDPH and the General Assembly and they’re both “comfortable with this.”
