Today’s New Cases
Cases increased from 12,931 on Friday February 26th to 12,956 on Saturday February 27th and 257 cases of COVID-19 are currently active in Windsor-Essex.

The Health Unit says 3 cases are outbreak-related, 9 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases, 3 cases are community-acquired, and 10 cases are still being investigated by the Health Unit’s nursing staff.
Vaccinations
3,275 people have received only their first dose of the vaccine (+507 since yesterday)
11,537 people have received both doses of the vaccine (full series) (+9 since yesterday)
A total of 26,349 doses have been administered to Windsor-Essex County residents (+525 since yesterday)
