According to the current forecast, Sacramento could see temperatures at or above 100 degrees for five days. The heat will spike over the weekend with afternoon temperatures around 110 degrees both Saturday and Sunday.People are advised to avoid strenuous activities during the heat of the day, stay hydrated and keep cool. Meanwhile, Thursday and Friday are spare the air days for the Sacramento region, where air quality is forecast to be unhealthy for sensitive groups. Drivers are asked to cut back on driving.
