La Cantina is Closing Their Downtown Location
According to a post on their official Facebook page, the
La Cantina
Bar N Grill in downtown Cedar Rapids will be permanently closing. The Mexican restaurant, located at 102 2nd Street SE, has been a staple downtown for the last ten years, but the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic proved to be too much. The post reads: As with many local restaurants, 2020 was a challenging year full of many obstacles. With that being said, we have come to the very difficult decision to permanently close the doors to our downtown location. We will cherish the many wonderful memories that were made at this location and all of the wonderful customers we had the chance to serve.
