While a lot of people’s attention will be focused on Tampa, Florida this weekend for the Super Bowl, there will be a host of fun activities to do before the big game around Central New York.
The “Delicious Downtown Deals” program is underway and Syracuse Stage has a new play dealing with the Los Angeles riots of 1992.
There are also virtual events from the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, the Erie Canal Museum and the Syracuse City Ballet.

MILWAUKEE - Some Milwaukee police officers enjoyed the chilly temperatures Saturday, Jan. 30, ice skating at Red Arrow Park downtown as part of a community event.
Acting Chief Jeffrey Norman, Milwaukee Admirals mascot Roscoe and the Cops and Kids Foundation were on hand. Officer handed out hot cocoa and coffee to citizens who took part.
