Prime Minister Imran Khan has instructed that all events organised in his honour be conducted in Urdu, it emerged on Saturday.
Parliamentary Secretary for National Health Services (NHS) Dr Nausheen Hamid shared a notification from the Prime Minister s Office stating that henceforth all programmes, events, or ceremonies arranged for the prime minister shall be conducted in the national language Urdu.

‘Misinformation causing unacceptability towards vaccination’

Islamabad : In order to promote parliamentary partnerships for regional integration and to accelerate working on global agenda in times of the ongoing pandemic, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Secretariat of the National Assembly of Pakistan hosted a panel discussion titled ‘Impact of COVID-19 on the Implementation of SDGs in the Region’ here on Wednesday.
The session of the second general conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Economic Cooperation Organization (PAECO) was chaired by Riaz Fatyana, MNA and Convener National Parliamentary Taskforce on SDGs and was co-chaired by key members of the taskforce.

ISLAMABAD (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2021 ) :Parliamentary Secretary, National Health Services Regulations and Coordination Dr Nausheen Hamid on Tuesday said that Pakistan s health authorities were on track to administer COVID-19 vaccination to almost 70% of its targeted population by end of December 2021, over 20 million Pfizer vaccine doses will reach in the country soon.
So far 10% population vaccinated against COVID-19: Dr. Nausheen
Parliamentary Secretary Health Dr. Nausheen Hamid says that so far 10 percent population of the country has been vaccinated against COVID-19.
Talking to a private news Channel, she said vaccination process would be boost in coming days to protect the precious lives.
Replying to a question, Nausheen Hamid said number of positive coronavirus cases decreasing day by day due to effective steps against pandemic virus.
She said the government is taking various steps for maximum vaccination of population and by 2021 around 70 million people would be vaccinated as per target.
