‘South Punjab province on papers only’

LAHORE: PML-N Punjab spokesperson Azma Bukhari has alleged that the government had made South Punjab province only on papers and the government gave nothing but deprivation to the people of South Punjab.
In a statement issued here Wednesday, she said for the last three years, the chief minister had been allocating billions of rupees in the name of Seraikis. She added that the people of South Punjab neither got a province nor see any development done by the billions of funds, which were allocated for them in the last three years. “Usman Buzdar has declared only Taunsa as South Punjab,” she alleged. She said the chief minister himself admitted that Shehbaz Sharif left 4,000 projects under-construction but could not reveal any of his plans.
