The Virginia Science and Technology Campus will delay in-person activities until 10 a.m. Thursday morning due to snowfall around campus, according to a GW Advisory issued Wednesday.
The advisory states that all remote learning and telework activities will continue as regularly scheduled, but employees working on site should contact their supervisor for instructions on in-person reporting “to ensure a safe commute to work.” The VSTC’s delayed start comes as “heavy mixed precipitation” accumulated more than 3 inches of sleet and snow in Loudoun County, Virginia, which will be under a winter storm warning until 4 a.m. Thursday, according to the advisory.
