El ovetense Emilio Martínez Pañeda, de 34 años y doctor en Ingeniería por la Universidad de Oviedo, ha recibido el premio al mejor ingeniero joven del Reino Unido. El galardón lo concede la Real Academia de Ingeniería Británica, está dotado con 3.000 libras y le ha sido entregado en un acto presidido por la princesa Ana.
