In a press release on Friday (Apr 30), STB said the scheme, which had initially been slated to expire at the end of June, will now be extended to Dec 31.

The changes will take effect from May 15. Replacing him at the Education Ministry will be Trade and Industry Minister Chan Chun Sing, who in turn will relinquish his portfolio to Health Minister Gan Kim Yong.
