According to statistics released Wednesday by the Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia, there were 4,997 fewer claims filed for time lost on the job in 2020 than there were in 2019. There were a total of 19,994 time loss claims filed last year and 24,900 filed in 2019, a 20 per cent decrease.
