Road communication of Pabna with 22 districts has been suspended since this morning following an indefinite transport strike.
Vehicular movement between southern and northern districts through the highways of Pabna came to a halt from 6:00am due to the strike, our Pabna correspondent reports.
Transport Owners and Workers Association enforced the strike protesting extortion on Dhaka-Pabna highway, our correspondent reports.
Many were seen walking to their destinations.

The new elections in Israel, called in the midst of the worst health and financial crises in Israel, leave in jeopardy many sectors, especially welfare and social services that is set to lose NIS 2.5 billion from its annual budget.
Israel headed into its fourth election campaign in two years at the stroke of midnight Tuesday, as the deadline for passing a state budget expired and the Knesset automatically dissolved by law.
It has been exactly one year since Steph Strings has hit the stage, and now she’s back, itching to perform to a real-life crowd at The Workers Club, Fitzroy.
