Monrovia – The Office of the President Pro Tempore of the Liberian Senate has described as disinformation, misinformation, and an act of dishonesty that discussions were held and captured on audio on solicitation of funds to facilitate the authorization of the printing of a new family of Liberian Dollar Currency. This is unacceptable and a complete violation of professional ethics of journalism.

BARCLYAVILLE, Grand Kru County – Madam Doris Nyanplane Ylatun, Superintendent of Grand Kru County, located in Southeastern Liberia, has alluded to journalistically unethical information dissemination by (many) members of the Liberian press community.
“Negative reporting, in any form, drives away investment, and hampers the growth and development of any nation,” Madam Ylatun said during her speech at the in-door segment of the celebration of the World Press Freedom Day, held in her County’s capital, Barclayville. Monrovia – At least 15 Liberian journalists representing electronic and print media houses have converged in Monrovia to undergo a five-month mentoring program aimed at combating COVID-19 related misinformation and other forms of human rights violations in the country, especially during the course of the fight against the pandemic.
The initiative is under the auspices of the “Mobilizing Media to Fighting COVID-19 (MMFC) project” initiated by Journalists for Human Rights (JHR), a Canada-based charity organization.

Dweh, has launched a writing-coaching project named “Writing Clinic”, and donated seven sets of 49-page pamphlets. Each of the study manuals contains easy-to-comprehend tutorials on Journalistic writings and literary writings (drama, poetry, and prose).
