Two Whanganui riders have blown away the competition at the recent New Zealand Junior Motocross Championships in Tauranga.
Troy Bullock and Karaitiana Horne both took out 1NZ in their respective classes. Troy won the 14-16yrs 85cc class and Karaitiana won the 12-16yrs womens class at the Junior Nationals on February 5, 6 and 7.

National is calling for the Government to move Covid-19 quarantine and managed isolation facilities away from central Auckland as a way to safeguard New Zealand largest city from future lockdowns.
Chris Bishop, the party s spokesman for Covid-19 response, says this could be in the form of a purpose-built facility on the outskirts of Auckland.

A reader writes: My son and I were on our way back to Auckland from Mangawhai a few weeks ago and saw how appropriate this cow was standing directly under this sign.
Glitch in the matrix stuff I dropped my phone in the kitchen and I looked to grab it off of the floor but it wasn t there. I heard it hit the floor but I couldn t find it. It was in the middle of the room too, there was no way it could ve gone more than a metre away from me. I checked under everything and went through the entire house looking for it but it was gone. I had my mum call my phone and it said that my line was disconnected. I checked the Find My iPhone app and it said it couldn t find my phone because it couldn t find a signal. That was four years ago, and we still haven t found it. It s like it hit the ground and immediately disappeared afterwards.
