New Legendary Raids
So
Pokemon Go Kanto Tour has passed, and we’re currently in the middle of the “week-long wrap-up event.” I’m using quotes because, frankly, the Kanto Tour ticketed event was a mixed bag. As some of you may have noticed in our event guide, Niantic pushed out a lot of extra details at the last moment, adding, augmenting, and deleting information of the event on their hours-before-the-event FAQ. Changes were
still being made even as the event went live in New Zealand, to the point that player social media posts from that region were more reliable than Niantic’s (thank you as always for your service, de facto beta testers).

There’s a good amount to do, even for players who don’t buy the pass

The
Pokémon Go Kanto Tour event takes place on Feb. 20 from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. in your local time, though there are parts of the tour that stick around after the initial day.
While only people who buy the ticket for $11.99 will be able to access the full event, there are also a few things players can do for free. Evolving the Kanto starters will give them their Community Day moves: Frenzy Plant for Venusaur, Hydro Cannon for Blastoise, and Blast Burn for Charizard. The special spawns that change from hour-to-hour based on Kanto locations will also be available for all players.

While one of the best parts of Pokémon Go is making friends with other Trainers, not everyone is comfortable approaching strangers to join in Raids which often need several players to beat. This is even harder when trying to organize Remote Raids. Although there are groups on Facebook and Discord where players can find members to fill in their Raid party, PokeRaid - Raid From Home is an app with the sole purpose of making it easy to find players for Remote Raids. And be sure to check out our best Pokémon Go accessories, so you ve got plenty of Potions and Revives for afterwards!
How to catch Farfetch d in Pokémon Go
Ordinarily, Farfetch d is a regional exclusive in Japan and South Korea, where it will spawn in the wild.
It has, however, since its debut in 2016 appeared in various events so other players have had access in their own region.
One such opportunity is during the Tour Kanto event in February 2021, which tasks players with catching all 150 Pokémon within the span of eight days.
During this event Farfetch d - alongside fellow Kanto exclusives Mr Mime, Tauros and Kangaskhan - appeared in Raids on the main event day on Saturday, February 20th.
Farfetch d is currently appearing in raids in Japan and South Korea until Monday, 1st March at 8am (local time). This means if you re lucky enough to have a friend who lives in one of these regions and a Remote Raid pass, then they can invite you to a Farfetch d raid.
