Doha: Ooredoo Group has been ranked 40th in the top 50 global telecommunications brands, up one place from 41 in 2020, as confirmed by the Brand Finance Telecoms 150 2021 report.
Ooredoo Group appears in the ranking list for the fifth consecutive year, with a total brand value of more than $3.22bn. The Group’s Brand Strength Index also improved over the year – reaching its highest ever figure – and the company maintained its brand rating of AA+ for the third consecutive year.
The Covid-19 loan guarantee scheme will be extended by three months. The scheme was launched as part of government s R500-billion stimulus package to support the economy given the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The FCC released the agenda for its next
Open Meeting, scheduled for March 17, 2021. The March meeting will
notably include a Report and Order that would reallocate 100
megahertz of prized mid-band spectrum in the 3.45 GHz band through
Auction 110, and propose a band plan for the new 3.45 GHz flexible
use wireless service aimed at supporting 5G
technologies. The FCC will also consider a Public Notice for
