Ikhlas brings festive joy to underprivileged and senior citizens 17 Feb 2021 / 10:19 H. Staff from Ikhlas and AirAsia farm distributing fresh vegetables, fruits and poultry to one of the homes. TWO AirAsia Digital business units IKHLAS, the Muslim-friendly line of business and AirAsia farm came together to bring festive joy to the underprivileged and senior citizens at four homes in Klang Valley yesterday, in conjunction with the Chinese New Year. A total of 660kg of fresh vegetables, fruit and poultry was donated which benefited over 220 underprivileged and senior citizens at the Yi Xing USJ Old Folks Home, USJ1 Charity Home, Malaysian Association for the Welfare of Mentally Challenged Children Petaling Jaya and Sun Beam Home Ampang.

The Charity House project, which has been running since 2013, sees Toi Ohomai carpentry students build a home with support from industry partners.

Source: Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology Thirty thousand dollars will be injected into the Rotorua community following the sale of the Toi Ohomai Charity House.  The Charity House project, which has been running since 2013, sees Toi Ohomai carpentry students build a home with support from industry partners. Professionals McDowell Real Estate has been on board since the project’s inception, using their expertise to market and sell the property, and the money raised is given to Rotary Rotorua Sunrise Charitable Trust to distribute throughout the community.  The latest house has recently sold, with the profit of $30,000 available to be dished out to various community organisations.
