Sessions court quashed JMFC order on private complaint by
woman employee
issue process ordered by the
Judicial Magistrate (First Class) against three officers of
Capgemini India Pvt Ltd, on a private complaint filed by a woman employee of the company accusing them of cheating and threatening her. The sessions court observed that the lower court had not followed the provisions of section 202 of Criminal Procedure Code (
CrPC), which allows the magistrate to postpone issue of process until s/he inquire into the case or directs for an investigation by a police officer.

In a
housing society in Pimpri-Chinchwad’s Ravet has been arrested by
Dehu Road police for allegedly molesting a sevenyear-old girl residing in the same residential complex. According to the police, Baburao Vane the accused forcefully took the minor to his quarter and misbehaved with her. The child’s mother, complainant in the case, caught Vane red-handed, following which other residents gathered at the crime spot and beat up Vane and handed him over to the cops.
The incident took place on the society premises around 11.30 am on Saturday, informed police personnel, adding that Vane tried to flee from the spot after being exposed but failed to do so, thanks to the alert denizens.

Union Minister of Road transport, Highways and Small Enterprises Nitin Gadkari on Thursday (7 January) reviewed the progress of Infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, reports

Gadkari said that a Rs 12,000 crore cement concrete highway will be constructed connecting Alandi and Dehu Road with Hindu pilgrim town of Pandharpur in Maharashtra.
âPalkhi Margâ connecting Pandharpur with Alandi and Dehu Road will also have dedicated pedestrian lanes covered with grass on the sides which can be used by Warkaris to undertake their pilgrimage to Pandharpur. This initiative will considerably increase the safety and comfort of pilgrims.
