The Des Moines Police Department on Tuesday announced five arrests in connection with an overnight shooting that sent a 2-year-old boy to the hospital in critical condition.Police say the boy was shot in the head at a Des Moines home late Monday night.Des Moines police officers responded just before 11 p.m. to a home in the 1300 block of Jefferson Avenue on reports of a child shot. Officers found a 2-year-old who had suffered from a gunshot wound to the head, Des Moines police Sgt.
