The Mustangs are coming into tonight’s matchup on a three-game winning streak, including a playoff victory over Des Moines Christian’s conference rival Woodward-Granger Thursday night. This game will also be a rematch of last year’s substate quarterfinal when the Lions routed the Mustangs 75-43. The winner of this game will take on either Albia or Pella Christian in the substate final Saturday night.
The playoff game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:00 PM. The game will be broadcast on the KRLS3 stream at kniakrls.com with Alex Koch on the call.

Acapella and Bravo have performed at several events this winter, including at Norwalk and Des Moines Christian, where the varsity Acapella choir had 1st place finishes in their classification.
The Mustang boys earned a bye and didn’t let it go to waste as they opened up postseason play with a home win over Woodward-Granger 42-29, as heard on the KRLS3 stream at kniakrls.com.
It was a low scoring game early as PCM trailed 7-6 at the end of the 1st and the game was tied at 22 through three quarters, but the Mustangs kicked it in gear and dropped 20 in the final frame to put the Hawks away for good.
Carson Vande Lune led the way with 12 points with Andrew Mitchell adding another 10. Not to be outdone, Durant Van Dyke had a whopping 14 rebounds as he put that 6’4” to good use.
