Cabinet has agreed to the implementation of the COVID-19 Artists Support Plan 2021 for the Cultural and Creative sectors by the Ministry of Arts and Cultural Heritage to mitigate the effects of the confinement following the recent resurgence of the COVID-19 pandemic and also to revitalise these sectors. The main objective of the Support Plan is to offer a financial support to the actors of the cultural and creative sectors, who due to gathering restrictions are experiencing loss of revenue, whilst at the same time giving them an incentive to further develop their artistic talent and create new art productions.
