I still don t quite get how people believe this is nothing but a Fairy Tail knock-off, because it s definitely not. Yes, Mashima s style definitely has a lot of the characters looking the same - fully admit that s something I ve had issues with as well, and sometimes still do - but they aren t just entire rip-offs of the Fairy Tail mains. I think people should try to have a far more open mind to this series and not try to compare it entirely to Fairy Tail, because I think then they d be far more surprised to see how much more depth (and how much darker) this is compared to its predecessors.
