In addition to what is called the district’s “updated brick-and-mortar” plan, an online option may also be offered, Chief Operating Officer Theresa Williams told the school board during an April 20 meeting. The virtual academy, as currently envisioned, would be a stand-alone option with its own curriculum and staff, which would require state approval.
