KILLEEN, Texas - The Killeen Police Department says it will be increasing traffic enforcement through the end of the fiscal year in an effort to promote traffic safety.
KPD says the increased traffic enforcement has been made possible through a comprehensive Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) grant.
TxDOT launches it’s End the Streak Campaign

KILLEEN, TX â The Killeen Police Department is increasing patrols along I-14 and and SH-195 to promote traffic safety.
The patrols are in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation and will be in effect throughout the remainder of Fiscal Year 2021.
Killeen PD says the increased enforcement is possible through a comprehensive Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) grant.
Officers will be allowed to patrol key areas that have a higher volume of serious injury and fatal crashes in order to enforce traffic laws.
