MADISON, Wis. The right-wing websites that call me a “patriot” were brimming with glee this morning because of a major gaffe in President Biden’s speech before Congress Wednesday.
The president referred to the January 6 insurrection in the nation’s Capitol as the worst assault on our democratic society since the Civil War.
Judge grants Capitol rioter Richard Barnett pre-trial release

A bail hearing was held for Barnett on Tuesday (April 27).
Barnett was photographed with his feet propped up on a desk in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi s office during the riot. He is also accused of stealing a letter from her office.
