Interstate 80 in Wyoming is expected to see some weather impacts Monday and Tuesday in Wyoming. Widespread snow showers are expected in southeast Wyoming on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne. 3-5 inches are expected near the I-80 Summit with 6-10 inches possible in the Snowy Range and 4-6 inches in the Sierra Madre Range. Isolated thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday afternoon, according to the NWS in Cheyenne. Article continues below. Ahead of the snow, I-80 is expected to see wind gusts of up to 65 mph through 9 pm Monday. Strong winds are expected in the Arlington and Elk Mountain areas between Laramie and Rawlins.
